At Caravan Washing we wash all kinds of caravans. These include Touring Caravans, Static Caravans (Holiday Homes) and Motor Homes.

Touring Caravans

Touring Caravans are in essence are designed to be mobile, towed by a vehicle such as a car or 4x4.
Most modern Touring Caravans are made of aluminium and plastics to be light as possible, when towing, thus reducing fuel consumption and damage to the environment.
Many Caravan Parks have spaces for Touring Caravans, "Tourers", or have more permanent spaces for Tourers which are called Seasonal Pitches. At many parks, these Seasonal Pitches, charge an annual rent and the Touring Caravans can stay on the same pitch all year round, so no need for towing.

Static Caravans (Caravan Holiday Homes)

Static Caravans are now often referred to by The Trade as "Holiday Homes" or "Caravan Holiday Homes".
Over the past 10 years, these Static Caravans are now built from higher quality materials than ever and are therefore a lot heavier. They can have full size ovens, fridge freezers, washing machines, full size beds, plush furnishings, the space for large screen TVs and more. Whilst they are delivered on the backs of large lorries and the Static Caravans have wheels, once the Static has been professionally sited, the wheels come off, metal tripods support the Static Caravan off the ground and it is then also chained to the ground. This is definately not a Touring or Mobile Caravan.
